I've been practicing this for a year, god dammit!

To explain what happened, 'hovering' in Link to the Past is a trick involving the Pegasus Boots that requires the player to hold the A button for no more than 30 frames (approximately half a second) and release the A button for no more than 1 frame (1/60th of a second). The end result is Link 'hovering' over a gap that would otherwise send him falling. It's at best, a trick to save time in speedruns, but can be used to access areas you wouldn't be able to immediately access.

Mostly it's a trick for showing off, and I will ride the fact that I finally pulled it off for years to come. I never thought I'd be able to do it, but I finally have. In the grand scheme of things, I probably won't put it to any real practical use, but if I decide to start speedrunning this game, I'll keep honing my skill for it.

In short, this will probably never happen again, but fuck it, I DID IT.
