Ghislaine Maxwell is a French-born socialite and daughter of disgraced embezzler Robert Maxwell. She is best known for her ties to convicted pedophile Jeffery Epstein, who she is said to have dated in the 1990s. Maxwell is alleged to have taken a leading part in Epstein's pedophilia activities, with numerous victims claiming she ran the scheme on Epstein's behalf. Since Epstein's 2019 arrest and apparent death, Maxwell has disappeared, with her own attorneys claiming to not know her whereabouts. She is believed to have been in the United States, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and France since Epstein's demise, with some speculating that she is constantly moving to stay ahead of investigators. Maxwell has not been charged with a crime, but is the subject of multiple civil suits brought forth by victims of Jeffery Epstein and is believed to know everything about Epstein's crimes. Maxwell is also known for her close friendships with various public figures, such as current President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, the Duke of York (Prince Andrew), Rupert Murdoch, Harvey Weinstein, etc.
Of the hundreds of female children abused by Epstein, Maxwell is reported to have said to a friend: "They’re nothing, these girls. They are trash". Ghislaine sounds like a lovely person, right?
To say that she is a real and modern Carmen Sandiego is an understatement.
