Why didn't these Raving Rabbids ideas get used?

I've been getting in to light gun games on my Nintendo Wii recently and the gun sequences on Rayman Raving Rabbids are terrific. But in unlocking those levels I discovered that a lot of excellent ideas were created for some of these mini games and I am a bit disappointed no one else used some of these concepts for full games.
