Digimon Survive got review bombed on Metacritic for being too much of a visual novel. Despite various interviews and trailers being fairly clear about it.
However, I have a theory about why, and its to do with 1 specific piece of marketing, and well...the way that marketing reaches people. And the type of people who buy games. Not everyone is the same.
So, whilst I think the review bomb is dumb, I have my thoughts about why it happened.
