This is the 3rd episode of Dave's Favourite Games. The release of the new Doom got me thinking about my time with the original, and how it might be time to finally play it properly (without cheats). It opened my eyes to how tense and atmospheric Doom can be. Even more surprising is this tension and atmosphere is part of the game still being completely immersive over 20 years later.
