Why FPS Maps Need To Tell Stories
We've seen games that fail to create an interesting world through their maps fall by the wayside year after year. The games that excel and achieve massive popularity are the ones that create a larger world outside of the game through thoughtful storytelling and design with their maps. I'm hoping that Overwatch 2 goes back to those principles, since it seems like the team strayed from it with the later maps in Overwatch.
