Why Free 2 play multiplayer Games Like Splitgate 2 Shut Down
4Something I want to talk about in depth at some point int he future, but was slightly talked on my stream the other day with the chat.
what do you think? are prices going crazy for skins & causing the deves to not even gain any money due to the crazy price tags? would lower prices help a lot like I believe they will?
gimme your thoughts.
keep in mind this issue isn't only in splitgate 2 , but many many many other games aswell like call of duty , valorant, etc.
the whole point is that these articifial expensive prices are ridiculous, can be set lower & the player base would buy it much more often, resulting a best of both worlds scenario. some games already do this such as dota 2, counter strike 2. it can be done.
until then I see studio after studio shutting down due to lack of support. mostly due to the crazy prices.
