ABOUT THIS VIDEO: Recently I posted a video that described my revised training routine. Shadow boxing used to be on that list, but now it is gone.
Why is that? The answer is simple: too much "unknown."
What I mean is if someone does a hook punch and I do Biu Da...well, if it is just shadow boxing, how am I supposed to know what they would do next? No two people will have the same reaction.
Will my punch be good enough to knock them out? Will they hook on the other side? Will they try punching low? Will they try to keep forcing the blocked punch through?
Since I would be boxing my imagination, I would be limited to knowing only what *I* would do next. I am not likely to wind up fighting myself on the street (like Edward Norton in FIGHT CLUB), so what use is this activity?
If anyone feels different, I don't mind being proven wrong.
