Why is your CPU so hot and is your cooler installed correctly?
Are you concerned that your CPU is running too hot? Or that maybe you've made some mistakes when installing your cooler and your system isn't running optimally because of it? Well, I'm here to point out a few different things to keep in mind either with your PC build, while you're using it or after a long period of use.
It's worth talking about a few different things:
Is your CPU just hot as standard? Some CPUs run really hot under load. The 7700X for example has a TJMax of 95 degrees. It actually ramps up to that temp as standard. Intel CPUs also get toasty too.
Does your CPU get hot during gaming sessions or when idling? That could be an issue, but during benchmarks it's pretty standard for CPUs to get hot.
Use these tools to test your CPU temps with stress tests and monitoring:

Cinebench - https://www.maxon.net/en/downloads/cinebench-2024-downloads

There might be other issues that might have happened during installation. For example
You might have damaged the thermal paste during installation
There are different size standoffs which if installed wrong = loose cooler
Not tight enough thumbscrews = loose cooler
Loose backplate = use 3M tape but might not matter
The other impact could be AIO position and fan logic:
Top mounted vs side/front intake
Bad airflow case
Fan speed can make a difference (show different Cinebench scores based on fan speed (quiet vs normal for example))
Other fans in the case, how are they installed, is it logical?
Thermal paste
Have you had it ages? Is it worth applying new paste?
