Why You Should Never Use 7mm Buckshot
In today’s video we investigate why 5.25mm buckshot outperforms 7mm, but to do this we need to understand how the ballistics system works in Tarkov in detail. Although at first glance it does appear that 7mm buckshot outperforms 5.25, the combination of round slowdown, the ballistic coefficient and head hp breakpoints means that 5.25 does in fact deal more damage from about 4 meters, and can one shot the head with any pellet out to 10 meters which 7mm cannot!
