2A new playthrough of Wizardry 8 with the incredibly difficult Expanded mod, which adds a host of new items, weapons, enemies, and spells. Here, I create the six heroes and explore the Lower Monastery.
There are two Catacomb areas that we have to return to later, and the heroes face a host of new enemies, like the Banshee, who can summon a volley of skeletons.
Being at such a low level is fairly painful, but we hold our level-ups so as not to make the Arnika-Trynton road too tough. We will return later around level 6 or so and clean the rest of the enemies up.
