A woman who died after a family member attacked her with a hammer is being remembered by friends and family as one of the most loving and caring people they have known. Kimberly Montgomery, 48, was attacked on Sept. 18 by a family member with a ball-peen hammer, police said. She was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and died in the hospital on Sept. 28.
