9I’m trying to work out why happiness is falling. A lack of coal miners leading to a lack of coal which shuts down one of the heating plants is an emerging problem, but I don’t think that’s the underlying issue.
I updated the game to the version 0.8.9.28 which introduced new game mechanics such as fertilisation of fields, management of various different types of waste, and also brought in a greatly enhanced tech tree that needs to be researched. So it’s not getting any easier. More updates have now brought us to v0.9.0.11. Full release is getting close.
