Just recently, I thought I'd take a look at a gameplay reveal for this new Chinese action game, 'Wuchang Fallen Feathers'. Went in not expecting much but ended up writing the game off within the first few minutes of this "reveal" considering it's just another blatant rip-off of the Dark Souls games right down to many of the same character and attack animations, targeting system, physics, checkpoints, slow movement, graphical design, art direction, camera movement, weapon choices, and more.

For anyone who is holding out hope that the action genre is going to be rejuvenated with fresh ideas, at this point there's not much reason to hold onto a dying wish.
