Commander Foobchain woke up. The room was dark and he could not move. An alien tentacle thing seemed to have bonded to him and secured him to the wall. Dried blood coated his head and his arm was at an impossible angle.
"What.........."
"He's awake." intoned a deep voice that had the quality of a tinny translator.
A Gill Man walked into the room,
"Hello human. You have finally woken up. You must have seen your little friend there. He has bonded with your spinal cord and has a direct interface to your nervous system. If you at any point during this interrogation lie to us, he will render one of your limbs useless. If you at any point refuse to answer, the same will be applied. Now, where is the rest of your team?"
"I'll never tell you!"
"Oh, but you will." said the alien with a sadistic smile.

PurnaTube reached for his radio.
"We are pinned down behind the warehouse, and we can't raise the commander! We need immediate support or we are going to die!"
"Roger that Echo 1, but we have no support incoming. All units have been deployed. You must complete your objective or the whole mission is at risk."
"Command, if I am not reinforced, the terror from the deep will overrun our position. They will sweep into the countryside and kill every living thing they see. They will bomb cities and towns. This attack on their base will not go unpunished."

Captain Jim Darkmagic and his stealth team of Frosty and Smellface crept among the buildings of the alien's hive. It looked like a giant organic -- metal mixed structure that had been plunked straight down in a city the size of New York. Covering approximately 50 city blocks and extending 20 thousand miles into the atmosphere, the structure was the biggest thing around.
"Command, I think we've found it."
"Roger Echo 2, this back entrance to the alien stronghold will give us the opportunity to end this once and for all. Enter the base and provide recon for Echo 3. They will be right behind you with the demo kit."
"Echo 2 out."
Jim walked to the entrance of the tunnel. It pulsated as if to the rhythm of a very alien heart.
"Alright men. Lieutenant PurnaTube and his men are distracting the alien force. We need to get in and tell Echo 3 where to go so we can all get out of here and go home."
The stealth team entered the tunnel. Moving silently, they crept along large fleshy catwalks and through high steel archways.
"Hold up, we've got hostiles. I count 2 tangos, one at the base of what looks like a security station and one patrolling a corridor next to it. How shall we proceed sir?" reported Frosty.
"We're going to hit fast and hard. Station like that is bound to contain maps and vital info. Silencers on."
