Final Chapter

When the shuttle arrived to Earth, it was obvious the humans were well and truly screwed. Cruisers, battleships and carriers dominated the landscape above the lonely planet. Every once in a while, a ship shaped like a dog penis would nose dive towards the oceans. Thankfully, the aliens were too preoccupied with the humans to deal with a small transport shuttle.

I held onto the edge of my seat as the shuttle dipped and swayed in the thicker parts of the atmosphere. A final bang as we landed. It wasn't easy starting out: Earth was too warm. I would spend the days hiding in freezers, and the nights wandering the streets, hoping to find anyone who knew about Earth's legendary defence force: X-Com. I eventually found them one night, while I was raiding the local café's food supplies. Or, more accurately, their handcuffs found my wrists. A living snowman roaming about is not an everyday occurrence here evidently.
