I love the X-Men. They are my favorite comic book team. I've watched every X-Men show; animated and live action. I've seen all the X-Men movies. I have opinions on all things. Chris Claremont is king. Grant Morrison was his heir apparent. Cyclops is better with Emma. Storm was the best leader the X-Men ever had. All that.

And I've played a lot of the X-Men video games; my favorites being the two X-Men Legends games. But I'd never played X-Men Destiny; a notoriously rushed mediocre beat em up by Silicon Knights.

Until now. This is more than just a review for an old X-Men game. It's also an exploration into how this game was made. And I pontificate on the tragedy of the fact that to this day this mediocre game is the last X-Men Game ever made. How... how did that happen?

So join me in experiencing a rare and lost video game; X-Men Destiny.

...ok. With that out of the way let's do my normal random thoughts.

Eric Clapton.

Great musician. Great guitarist. But is he the 'Greatest Musician' of all Rock and Roll?

...well. No. That's not a thing anyone is. But Eric Clapton is currently the only inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to be inducted 3 times. First in 1992 as a member of The Yardbirds. Then again the following year for being in the band Cream. And then finally in 2000 he was inducted for his solo career.

Does the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame think Clapton is that amazing? Or did they just keep forgetting that he's already an inductee? For what it's worth I love me some Eric Clapton so if anyone got inducted three times... I'm not upset it's him.

But now you know. Eric Clapton's the only 3 time inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. And that's something you can totally forget about later and vote him into a fourth induction.

Mike here... I'm just surprised you didn't link to 'Cocaine' after all that.
