X58 W3670 10 drives RAID 0 finally working, Budget server and gaming PC
3I have a gigabyte x58 UD5 rev 2 (like 10. years old), rev 2, it has 6 sata 2 ports and 4 sata 3 ports, the sata 3 controller is weird and kinda sucks, sata 2 ports work(and are faster than those sata 3) it has Intel RST but I am using 4tb drives and Motherboard doesn't have UEFI so it doesn't see more than 2tb(1.7) so used software Raid, and the sata 3 ports support raid but it's all weird, split into 2, one configured in motherboard bios and second one in sepatrate bios configuration after post and after figuring the bios and stuff I wanted to test using all of the sata ports(-1 for system SSD) and raid 0 on all of them, figuring out the bios settings and getting it to work together finally after all day it finally worked LOL. I have crystal disk mark results for later, it's old heavily used drives so raid 0 not go
for redudancy but this was just a for a test for speed and to make sure all the sata ports work and stuff, it's late as I am writing this so enjoy LOL. specs: xeon w3670, 3x4b ram, gtx 1660 and other stuff XD
