I actually defeated every UM I went after today! I think I saw a video somewhere that Fiona is super-broken, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about that method. Mine seems to have worked, but I think it takes longer. I also began what I THINK is the last thing before I move on with the story, farming for Gem materials!
