The Navy Type-0 Carrier Fighter A6M (usually shortened to Zero Fighter or simply Zero) is a japanese aircraft appearing as different models in Strikers 1945 (as the standard Zero) and Strikers 1945 Plus (as the Type 52).

The A6M Zero is a close quarters-oriented fighter with moderate mobility. It's main shot has minimal spread and does decent damage at range, but is best used up-close in conjunction with it's Drop Mines to inflict maximum damage to large enemies and bosses. It's subweapon is fired by means of purple J8M Syusui wingmen, which follow the A6M in whichever direction it's moving, and can be arranged in a certain pattern to give decent coverage at close-range.

In Strikers 1945 II, the Zero appears as enemies in various levels.

In Strikers 1945 PLUS, the Zero appears as a playable fighter in all the levels. It has very powerful weaponry to make up for that, though its Super shot is the most powerful of all the planes, despite taking too long to stock it.

In Xeno Fighters R, it become Guest Fighter alongside P-38, Twin Mustang, X-36, Marion and Yuan-Nang as Psikyo Guests.

Xeno Fighters is a freeware Shoot 'Em Up Fan Game developed by Team XF. Its game mechanics draw from Raiden Fighters primarily. Being a fan game, it contains many references to other games in the genre, both well-known and obscure.

Strikers 1945 (ストライカーズ1945), also known as Striker 1945, is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game developed and published by Psikyo in 1995. In Japan, it was ported to the PlayStation and Sega Saturn by Atlus in 1996; later was also released as part of Psikyo Shooting Collection Vol. 1: Strikers 1945 I & II by Taito for the PlayStation 2 (in Europe by Play It under the name 1945 I & II: The Arcade Games). The game was followed by Strikers 1945 II in 1997 (released in North America as just "Strikers 1945"), and Strikers 1945 III in 1999, as well as the second title remake called Strikers 1945 Plus.
