After last mission, I've sat down and modified alien loadouts. Overall I've increased aliens count by 50% (Insane gives additional spawns on top of that). Top tier UFOs will not be spammed by uber tough aliens that can 1 shot kill soldiers any more. They will be fewer in numbers but there will be more lower tier aliens, which means aliens can be at any corner, making your lives miserable but at least there slightly more chance of survival. The aliens will also have different personality based on the mission types. Terror missions will have more aggressive aliens, while Ground Attack missions will have more defensive.
