Hello all,

In today's video we will talk about the #yearofdarkpaw quests for January. Broken Key of Sands and Oasis of Sand. The way the quests will work is every month they will rotate out. These 2 quests will be removed and 2 more added. The merchant will also gain items each month.

Some key points about Broken Key of Sands quest is to make sure every toon gets the area update before killing the mobs for the drops. If you happen to kill the mob before the area update you will have to reget the quest. Not horrible, but the trigger mob will not respawn for that person.

Mobs hit for less than 10k dps, so should be extremely easy for most people do on their own.

Oasis of Sands instance is kill 5 mobs, averaging about 15k to 20k DPS.
This is a Heroic Adventure. Think of it like CotF instances, players must be in the instance while each step updates in order to earn currency. So task-adding people while they are out of zone is not advisable.

Overall impression is its accessible to most people to do. I would farm currency and hope we get some better things in later months. Lock outs seem to be 1 hour, so if you wanting to repeat the quests you must do the Broken Key of Sands quest again.
