YOU NEED HDMI 1.3 COMPATIBLE PORT, look up your specs before you even bother!
Remember make sure you have ran a compatibility test before you buy a VIVE, some systems are not capable of handling it.
But if you reached this video you will probably downvote it for not fixing your unfixable problem. Sorry
This was the solution that fixed my problem with the HTC vive, and I had to use my phone to record it, So sorry about the quality
