Yu Yu Hakusho Tournament Tactics Tips
I do like this game once I got used to bypassing the big maps by deploying Yusuke last for his crazy spirit gun range. There's a lot of depth with the initiative system (use weaker moves or don't focus/move in garbage time to go faster) and overdrive even carries over between battles.
Shame the music isn't really that great for an anime game. Movement to go into ally spaces or climb is 2, and isn't previewed well when leveling, though 3 levels increases from 3 to 4 spaces.
When you get Yukina, who can heal (buff spirit energy first), replace Kuwabara with her as he is slower and has little range. You can even have her taunt while in the back to safeguard everyone from close ranged attacks as they'll only pursue her (and she can get whoever has less than 20 hp for bonus kill exp), but be careful of who has long range. You may also have to replace Yusuke as he is much slower than Genkai and Hiei as they level, so you may want to test faster replacements (Rinku has low attack and Jin can't fly over obstacles and is a spirit guzzler).
