Never would have thought there would be a randomizer of this game, but here it is.
For those who don't know, ZANAC is an innovative vertical shooter where the AI not just controls the enemies, but it scouts your strength and how you're doing overall to plan different combinations of enemies to try to stop you. It's like an adaptive difficulty (when you die, the AI lets up as you're less of a threat), while tailoring based on the power-up you choose.
I try permadeath runs (game over = new seed). I loved the vanilla game and I used to challenge myself to complete the game without continues. I will try that here, hence "permadeath". Maybe I'll also try to "speedrun" or otherwise attempt to die as little as possible (counting deaths in the frantic nature of the game will get dicey though)
In any case, hope you enjoy the frantic vertical scrolling action and will give it a try.
