About DrachenWolf
DrachenWolf is for fans of Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA, and theme park enthusiasts in general. The first part of the name (Drachen) is centered around the infamously "rough", or in my account, the totally awesome experience that was Drachen Fire! A short lived roller coaster that got a bad rap for being too ("people that don't like an awesome roller coaster") rough, but was perhaps in my opinion, one of the best roller coasters they've ever had. Operating at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg for only a short time from 1992 to 1998. The second part of the name (Wolf) is for the widely beloved, Big Bad Wolf! Operating at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg from 1984 to 2009, it too was an epic ride that is truly missed by many. Both rides were located in the Oktoberfest area. Both of these revolutionary roller coasters were designed by Ron Toomer, the same man that designed The Loch Ness Monster!
