About Disinformed Podcast
The Disinformed Podcast was founded on a lie... one that acted as the foundation for an auditory house of cards, so to speak. What began as a workplace joke perpetrated upon podcast co-creator Michael (the idea that Little Caesar’s uses liquid cheese for its mozzarella) ultimately acted as a catalyst which germinated into the show. The premise is simple: one of the co-hosts (Michael, Shane, or one of a rag-tag band of fellow fibbers) presents an intriguing esoteric topic to his compatriots. However, in the course of explaining the outlandish subject, the host attempts to artfully intersperse some lies about the material. The co-hosts then get to attempt to separate the facts from the fiction, and the hilarity ensues. Featuring a wealth of eclectic topics ranging from LaVeyan Satanism, The Birds Aren't Real movement, Purity Culture and Urine Therapy, the four friends try and pull the wool over one another’s eyes one tale at a time.
