About Extra Life Edmonton
Extra Life Edmonton plays for the kids at The Stollery Children's Hospital. With more than 300,000 patient visits each year, we know this number will continue to grow right along with the child population of Alberta. More than 40 percent of patients treated at The Stollery live outside Edmonton, including many from British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The Stollery hosts the only specialized pediatric health care facility in central and northern Alberta. The Hospital serves one of the largest catchment areas in the world - a geographical area of more than 440,000 square kilometres. Through donor support, The Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation continues to help send more children home each year.
