Some people wonder about the name James Butterbur; what it means, who it is, all that. To summarise: Back when I was graduating from my school, I was in the process of transferring everything from my school account onto a new email. At the time I was reading the Lord of the Rings, and I had gotten up to the part where the bartender's name is Barliman Butterbur. So I put my email as James Butterbur, temporarily. I knew I would think of something better eventually. I didn't. So when I created this YouTube channel at the start of 2023, I just used the email for the title. 👍
