So this is Cally's Caves 4, the most recent instalment to the Cally's Caves franchise where we as the player are tasked to pursue a cure for our buddy Rupert's curse. What this curse entails, I'm uncertain at this stage, but it's gotta be terrible if we're going on a massive adventure for him.
For those of you who don't know already, these games are a 2D platformer slice & shoot which involves some mechanics inspired by Ratchet and Clank in regards to their weapons system, meaning the more you use the weapon at hand, the stronger it becomes.
The only exception here is you Melee attack which can be upgraded through purchasing items at Rupert's store, in addition to a bunch of other useful upgrades which will be covered as we play through the game.
