01/22 || Catch Em All Crossing || Temtem || Poor Screaming Servers
0Temtem was running so good the night and morning before this stream, but then I announced I was doing a Temtem stream and bang, the servers were suddenly way over capacity. The stream start was delayed by about 30 minutes because I loaded it up at the back of a 10k queue. Though the fact that a 10k queue only took 20 minutes is definitely a good sign in their favor.
We caught up to and even advanced a bit farther than we did in the stress test before my weird lack of energy finally caught up with me. I'm starting to think it might have been some of the little niggles wearing on me. Stuff like thinking a Temtem should be evolving soon but having no way to know for sure, or the fact that I'd been hunting for two Temtem's marked as "very rare" on the tempedia wiki for freaking hours. I still enjoy the game but it does feel like it wants me to be moving through to new areas faster than I am. It has the exact opposite problem of Pokemon Sword and Shield too, Tamers are almost always between 4 and 10 levels higher than the wild Tem's around them, so to handle Tamers you have to be overleveled for Wild ones by a lot.
Wait, wait before I go I have one more minor thing to tilt about, the freaking water flying dojo has a frankly absurd number of freaking electric Temtems in it! sort of reminds me of the electric gym in Pokemon Black and White, you get hinted at for a while about picking up some ground types and then half the trainers have emolgas, flying electric types that are immune to ground.
