Good music and art should accurately reflect the time that it is written in. This is why electronic music itself has become so much more popular in recent years: it reflects the increasing prominence of technology in our lives. The machine becomes more human and we become more machine-like as perceptions of time and space change due to increasing connectivity in communication. As Marshall McLuhan said, we are externalizing the human central nervous system through technology. The music made in such a time of rapid change might convey many extremes in soundscapes from fast, driving, and uplifting, to soulless and robotic or transcendent, beautiful, and deeply reflective. Ender and MorBeat hope that what they have created in Keys To The Eschaton is a quality expression of the time we are living in as the hand of the eschaton becomes increasingly more visible in everyday life.
