0x002D - Hyperkin's New Duke on Linux
377The New Duke doesn't work with Linux by default, let's fix that.
Here's the command you want to make it work:
sudo nano /sys/bus/usb/drivers/xpad/new_id
and add "2e24 0652"

Modifying the `new_id` file is probably going to be your best bet to use the controller in the mean time. Although I swear it seems like that file was getting reset for me, so if you have weird problems like that you could try using my modified kernel driver.
Also, I forgot to put this in the video. If your controller doesn't work on startup after changing xpad run `modprobe xpad` as with root permission and if that fixes it add "xpad" to /etc/modules to make it loaded on startup. Here's a one liner for that:
sudo echo "xpad" &g
(You can't have "greater than" characters in the description because they are used in HTML. So just replace the >> with two "greater than" characters)t;> /etc/modules
I had no idea this controller had sold out and was already being scalped on ebay before I started making this video. Hopefully Hyperkin is able to make more of these. I just pre-ordered on gamestop's site as soon as I heard about it and never followed the news on it(except for the delay when it was late).
