0Serious Sam 1 and 2 were my all-time favourites, real OG chaos that never missed. My brother Arief and I had our setups side by side, blasting through levels while keeping an eye on each other’s screens, flexing who was clearing faster. It was pure sibling rivalry, laughs, trash talk, and that hype every time a wave hit. When Serious Sam 3: BFE dropped, I was already playing a new role as a parent of two, so priorities shifted. Still, I jumped into Serious Sam 4 later on just to feel that old-school madness again, even if I didn’t make it to the end. However, mid stream I had to tap out, started feeling nauseous just staring at the screen too long. Not sure if it’s the game’s wild camera shake or just me getting older, but damn, it hit hard. I’m not even sure if I can finish it, might take a while with how dizzy it makes me. I really want to push through and beat it, but that motion sickness hits harder than some of the enemies.
