44It's time to sleep in the Metaverse, VR headset day 8!
10 Days in a VR Headset/Metaverse! 10K 10 Days in VR Celebration! We're seeing how possible it is to live in the Metaverse using an Oculus Quest 2, a Valve Index, and a PSVR!
Not only will I be in VR, but my entire life will be livestreamed for proof short of bathroom breaks or short trips upstairs for supplies (which I will still be in a VR headset for)
RULES:
-I must do everything in VR (short of a medical issue stopping it early) for 10 days straight or 230 hours (10 days X 24 hours - 1 hour of shower breaks).
-All my normal daily activities will be in VR including eating, sleeping, exercising, and socializing.
-Everything will be live streamed and live stream restarts will not last more than 10 mins if there is a technical difficulty.
BREAKS:
I am allowed:
2-30 Min Shower breaks per day (Exercising in VR will make this very necessary)
30 Seconds to Swap headsets if I have to install Rx lenses or anything
To leave the room if I have a VR headset on using pass through
GOALS:
The goal of this is to challenge myself and see how far VR is from being a livable situation as we approach the eventuality of a metaverse.
