10 writers who saved a comic series
263Comics have a storied history. Series come and series go, but sometimes a series gets another chance with a new creative team without the lucrative 'Brand New Series' label on the cover. Whether it's saving a title from cancellation, exceeding the expectations of a previous big writer, or just giving a great story, these are some of my favourite examples of Comic Book series that were saved by a different writer than what started.
With big names such as Alan Moore, Brian Michael Bendis and Chris Claremont, to sleeper hits like Joe Casey on WildC.A.T.S. and Gail Simone on Birds Of Prey, there's something for everyone here, as we delve into the history of comics!
