I love retro games. I mean, it's where I got my start - I've been playing video games since I was six, and I cut my teeth on the ColecoVision and the NES. But something I like even more than retro games is convenience - whether it's the ability to take my Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation Portal, or Xbox Anywhere with me, gaming on the go has never been easier.

And while all those systems allow for you to play modern games, I still find myself drawn to retro games - and luckily for me, developers today are making games with modern design sensibilities and methodologies in a retro style. Today, I want to look at 10 of my favorites. From racing, to platformers, to sports - there's all kinds of incredible modern retro-styled games out there.
