While there is nothing wrong with game developers paying homage to a specific game, sometimes they take things a little too far. There are some games that are so eerily similar you begin to believe there might be some copyright infringement in there somewhere. After you determine which game developer is most likely to get sued, you start to realize the game is actually just a complete rip off of a more successful game. In the world we live in, money is king and some game developers will do anything for a quick cash grab. If that means stealing the plot and features of a more successful game while passing it off as their own idea, so be it.
