10 Years and 3,000 Subscribers: Portrait of an Unfocused Creator
In celebration of ten years, here is a celebration of all my accomplishments and trials, both on Youtube and outside of it.
I was going to have some clips of my career playing in the background, but some of the topics here are a little too serious for that. I'll have a little "Best of" thing for part 2 in March/April, which is the true 10 year anniversary anyway and the real step forward.
Here's the short version of this video's main points:
-My life has been a series of ups and downs, and due to the wild nature of my life, I have allowed the uncertainty of life to navigate the content of my channel.
-I am moving on to (hopefully) a ph.d program in August 2021, and I have no idea what my living situation will be.
-I am asking everyone to think back on my channel and tell me what you most enjoyed or think that I would have the greatest success in focusing on.
Should I just do reviews on this channel? I have a podcast now, should those videos go up on this channel? Should I perhaps start a second channel that is hyper-focused on one thing? Or should I just stream more and let the youtube channel stand by itself as is? Or maybe something totally different?
Do I even have a place here anymore or is this as far as my little youtube experiment goes?
Let me know what you think, I'll be back late March or early April with more information and a decision.
Thank you so so so so much for 10 years of unparalleled joy and sorrow, I am been the invisiblegunslinger1, and I'll see you on the morrow.
