Merry Christmas! This match took place on December 23rd, and this match, we decide what to do with Mio's cakes.

So, during this event, at the start of every sixth chapter, Mio's False Cake will be added to every player's hand. It's a Boost card with no cost that lets you choose whether to eat it or throw it.

If you eat the cake, you get a random effect that could be good or bad, and seems to be chosen from the possible Playground mini-game "prizes". (This includes oddball things like triggering a battle with a random mook after eating the cake, or pooping out a Bomber bomb. What random ingredients are in these cakes anyway?)

Also, if you get Frostwalk, Joker, or Poppo Dice, the effect lasts for 2 turns, which is certainly fair for Joker, because otherwise you wouldn't have a chance to use a non-Battle card for free. And of course, getting Poppo Dice from this can be extremely powerful.

Now, if you throw the cake, you deal 1 damage to target opponent. So, it's like a free Long-Distance Shot. (However, Suguri 46BY cannot use her x2 effect on the cake. And, I don't think she can produce cakes with her Hyper. Looks like it doesn't count as a damage card as far as she's concerned.)

Sometimes, I'll take a third option. I can use Nico's Miracle Walker to transform the cake card into a random Hyper, along with the rest of my hand. In addition, other players could make use of the card in different ways as well, like how it can contribute towards powering up Peat's Blue Crow the Second, for example.

Oh, and after the match ends, the winner gets 40 cakes for buying certain new items in the shop, while the non-winners get 35. So, even if you don't win, you still get 7/8 of what the winner gets, which is certainly not bad.
