Here it is. The 101 Pinball World for DSiWare OST. Arguably one of the worst soundtracks of all time. Since I couldn't find any footage or audio of this game, I decided to sacrifice $5 in order to experience it for myself... And now I'm sharing the terrors with the world.

I have no idea who composed these. The game doesn't appear to have any credits. Not surprising, as I'm sure whoever was responsible for this didn't want their name in the game.

It's not just the music that's bad though, the gameplay is equally as bad as this music. The flippers can barely lift the ball halfway up the playfield (If the ball doesn't phase through them, that is), the playfield designs are horrendous, often placing objects directly in front of the flippers, leaving plenty of crevices for the ball to get stuck in, or shots that are literally completely blocked by other objects. The "physics" send the ball jerkily flying around the playfield as if you were playing a laggy online game, and the rules involve commands like "Shoot the crazy bumper!" (The crazy bumper being a bumper that becomes brighter by like, one shade) or... I kid you not... "Let the ball go through the flippers". Yes, one of the game's instructions is to let the ball drain, and you get like 1000 points if you do it when they tell you...

Timestamps:
0:00 Wizard Theme
3:33 Spooky Theme
6:50 Space Theme
10:52 Pirate Theme (Yes, this is supposed to be pirate music. Don't ask me why it sounds like music from a Hallmark Channel sitcom.)
13:31 Title Theme (Surprisingly decent compared to the rest of these tracks.)

So there you have it. A new soundtrack to add to the list of worst video games OSTs. Oh, and be sure you don't listen to these too much, because I managed to get some of these stuck in my head.. You do not want to get these, stuck in your head.

Want a good DSiWare Pinball game? Look no further than Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon. Same price as this trash, except it's incredibly well made. It has an excellent design, deep ruleset, lots of cool toys, and very well done music and sound. Oh, and the physics are arguably better than those even in Zen and The Pinball Arcade, but it was made by the same people who made the Pro Pinball games, so that's probably to be expected!
