137This is a collection of tunes that I've arranged and sequenced for native playback on Super Nintendo hardware. All of the audio was recorded directly from a launch-model US SNES deck.

This is a real hodgepodge because I was just doing stuff that happened to catch my ear. I wasn't focusing on any sort of theme, if that wasn't already obvious by that list, but jumping between so many genres was a lot of fun. I loved how the THX intro came out. I had to carefully time the Galaga noises so everything would sync properly to the video which involved a lot of trial and error, and I revised my recreation of Deep Note to make it sound a bit fuller and wider. Oh, the attempts to make people soil themselves through sound :D So great.
I think my inner nerd is showing again, though. After creating 16-bit console mallsoft with that Plumbers Don't Wear Ties song (that intercom voice was sampled straight from a tape one of those tapes that would play at K-Mart over the loudspeaker!), a Star Trek song (and both in the same video, no less!), and it's not like I can really hide it, can I?
I didn't reuse any samples or clips from any of the original tracks in making these, with the exception of Mind's Eye. Even the Lotus theme - I went back and resampled the chick-a-chick-ahh sound directly from the song it originally came from. Mind's Eye here is using all of the same samples as it used in the Jaguar version. So much for Atari's math.
