Todd Tuckey shows you a 1985 Pinball CONVERSION KIT called GAMATRON that converted your existing Bally pinball machine made between 1977 and 1984 to another game. Using the electronic boards and cabinet of the existing game, this "kit" could transform the worn out machine you had to a whole different game. Based on Stern's 1981 FLIGHT 2000 designed by Harry Williams, this is very close to the original and even employs the same programming as the original! Gary Stern was head of this short lived company which opened when Stern/Seeburg closed in 1984. There are no production runs on how many of these kits were sold. I personally have had three pass through TNT Amusements. And here in this video, you will see TWO side by side---both are sold...one is finished with super bright LED's and the other is just regular bulbs....just LOOK at the difference!
