Limbus Company is a dungeon crawling RPG developed and published by Project Moon and is the third game in the universe by the studio. The game was released on February 27th, 2022 (February 26th for Western audiences) and saw release on Google Play, Apple Store, and Windows via Steam and Windows Store.
The game takes place after the true ending in Library of Ruina. It follows 12 Sinners that are based on literary classics, as well as characters from Project Moon's manga/novel series Leviathan. The gameplay is simple, having you make action combos with a chain and then watching it play out.
Sinners have access to Identities and EGO, which seem to work as alters and powerful moves to a character respectively. There is also EGO Corrosion, which is a distorted but more powerful version of their EGO attack.
The setting takes place in The City, an urban super complex where the crime is rampant and life and morality is fleeting. The main character is "Dante", a person who lost their memories after seemingly becoming a "Distortion" while attacked by mysterious assailants, only to be saved and then bound to 12 "Sinners" that they can revive. After Vergilius clears out the assailants, Dante is then made the "manager" of Limbus Company, a workforce that is meant to enter areas that were once owned by Lobotomy Corporation and retrieve the "Golden Boughs" hidden within.
