22This is a video of me typing 149.3 wpm, and placing 5th overall in Canada on typingzone.com. This is a permanent tournament, which means that I have scored the 5th fastest speed of all time for my country. My global rank is 65. This is a European website, and they use a non-standard definition of a word. They define a "word" as 6 characters, whereas in North America it is defined as 5 characters. That is why you see around 124 wpm in the software and on the leaderboards. Multiply that number by 1.2 and you get a speed of 149.3wpm on the standard scale.
I had it over 150wpm for the entire thing, but I went and screwed it up right at the end by hitting the comma instead of the period. I managed to just barely finish with a speed that put me in 5th overall.
