15 years later: I'm "ready" to share my story | Myles Dyer LIVE #150
250This is going to be a very different livestream, but a very personal and important one for me. I've been trying to find the courage to talk about something that happened to me in 2009, which devastated my life. No one is ever truly 'ready', but recent events have given me the strength to finally do so.
Planning this has been tough because on the one hand, I don't want to sensationalize my experience, but at the same time, I need to give it the seriousness that it is. My hope is that sharing this will be the final step in my recovery and help others who may feel alone. Courage is contagious, and seeing it in others has brought me to this moment.
