1:15:40 - does Roulette pick Kyo/Iori? Oh okay it does finally
1:21:40 - wrap-up & what's next!
^ At the end I wanted to see if the thing that bothers me about Shingo is that he's kind of a clumsy Kyo clone, so I played them back and forth for a while. And I think that's what it is.
Notes:
2'00 - "bootleg" isn't the right term; the "consolization" is an extensive after-market modification
5'50 - "tunes me up" is probably what I was thinking of; in any case, yet another disastrous attempt at slang : p
This was pretty rough going for the most part and I think what I've taken away from it is that I don't want to play as Shingo and Chin anymore: Shingo because he feels like an awkward Kyo clone--I think I've read that he does more critical hits or something but the trade-off seems to be that his moves are less fluid and pull up a bit short, which I find incredibly frustrating--and Chin because his extremely slow horizontal movement just feels like wading through molasses whenever you have to move anywhere, and he doesn't have the fast springing attack that gave him a lot of mobility back in oh '96 or whenever it was that I liked him (also I kind of hate his bulky 2000 costume). : P

Recorded 7/27/20 w/ "Omega" consolized NEOGEO MVS, OSSC, Framemeister, Elgato HD60, Hori RAPV 2017 w/ Sanwa lever & buttons, Brook Super Converter, Sennheiser e945 microphone (+4db)
(Well dang I forgot to double-check the color setting/initiation properly before pressing record and of course it went wrong and a little washed out. Eh I also forgot after the soft reboot to activate the Unibios "cheat" that enables bounce for this EU ROM version.)
