How likely can you get 2 or 3 Fireballs from a single Fireball pickup?

This is about approximating chances from lv 3 Fireball by collecting 100 Fireball pickups and making a tally for each amount of Fireball from a single pickup I got. Note that these races were not consecutive. I avoided racing against Metal Sonic, taking electric damage, and getting bodyblocked. Those three interrupt my approximation.

This should be done in party match, but it's not permanent yet and waiting for its return takes forever.
