1CCBBH - 610. Sky Soldiers (1 Credit Clear)
0Pilots from the future go back to the past to... uhh.... I dunno. Seems like going back and killing hundreds of dudes in the past would have some adverse effects on the future, but I guess they get away with it here because it's a video game.
This is not a very exciting shmup, the levels are kinda drab and enemy patterns tend to get reused a lot. And the game scales up the HP of enemies as you get farther into the game, dying and losing your max power normal shot will fuck you up bad on the later stages. Being able to select different sub-weapons for every stage and being able to power them up is kinda interesting, but they lose their powerups on death too. I had to come up with a comfortable route for leveling up the WEAPONES, and then put it all together in a run without a death (until the very end I guess). More difficult than I expected it to be. Sky Adventure shouldn't be as bad whenever I get around to that...
