사스콰치

사스콰치는 아메리카 원주민 언어에서 유래했다고 한다. 빅풋(Bigfoot)이라고도 불린다. 빅풋이란 말은 미국에서, 사스콰치란 말은 캐나다에서 주로 쓰인다 한다. 종종 목격담이 나오기도 하지만 아직까지 그 존재를 뒷받침할 만한 그 어떤 증거도 존재하지 않는다. 예티와 비슷한 편이다.

캐나다에서는 낚시꾼들에게 오두막집을 임대해주는 사람이 겨울~봄 동안 사스콰치가 행패를 부린다고 주장하기도 했고, 20세기 초반에는 근처를 탐험하다가 잠자는 사이에 보쌈(...)당한 사람의 이야기도 기록됐다고 한다. 탈출하는 과정이 좀 우스운데, 우선 코담배를 맡는 걸 보고 '그거 줘' 해서 받고는 그걸 한입에 털어넣었다. 그리고 입가심하려고 커피를 받아 마시고는 컵을 내동댕이치고선 개울가로 물을 마시러 간 사이에 탈출에 성공했다고...(...)

육포회사들 중 가장 유명한 회사인 Jack link's(잭 링크스)는 사스콰치를 광고에 출연시켰는데, 내용이 갑자기 출연한 사스콰치를 보고는 장난을 치다 개역관광을 당한다...이 사스콰치를 가지고 대학생 에피소드도 만들었다

귀엽다.

일족의 용자로, 바나나를 좋아한다. 시리즈마다 뻘짓하는 일족들을 구하기위해서 분투한다. 특히 세이버에서는 일족들이 바나나를 실컷 주겠다는 제다의 속임수에 넘어가서 다들 갇혀있었고, 제다를 좋은 사람이라 여기고 있기까지 했다.

엘리멘탈 제라드의 작가가 그린 코믹스판에선 바렛타에게 발리고 가죽이 벗겨진다. 안습. 그리고 바렛타에게 잡히기 전 과자같은 단 음식을 먹는 장면이 나온다.

성능은 일단은 파워계인데, 게임시스템상 스피디한 공방에서도 그리 밀릴것이 없다. 아니 파워에 비해 심각하게 빠르다. 한마디로 개캐.

주력 필살기는 발승룡권 커맨드로 사용하는 빅 타이푼. 견제, 연속기로 좋으며 가드되어도 반격받을 위험이 별로 없다. 특히 이걸 ES로 사용하면 상대는 그저 데꿀멍.

커맨드 잡기로 기습적으로 잡아서 얼린뒤 연속기를 먹일때 쓰는 빅 브런치 등, 공격 바리에이션도 생각보다 다채롭다.

초필살기는 잡기기술, 빔공격, 가불기습기 등 입맛대로 골라쓸 수 있다. 특히 빔초필은 1히트이기 때문에 배째라식으로 사용해서 크로스카운터가 나도 데미지가 제대로 나온다.

다만 가론의 초필살기처럼 일단 사용만 하면 상대에게 공격판정이 나오는것이 아니라 일단은 입에서 발사하는 것이라 혼자 쳐맞으면 공격도 끝난다. 주의. 하지만 기는 ES에만 써주자. ES가 훨씬 좋다.

대쉬가 흡사 KOF 시리즈의 소점프를 연상케하는 낮고 빠른 궤적으로 날아가며 공중공격을 낼수도 있기때문에 매우 고성능, 고성능의 대쉬로 상대에게 접근해서 강력한 체인콤보로 밀어붙이는 것이 주력패턴이다. 특히 대쉬중 뒷방향키를 누르면 대쉬거리도 조정가능. 주로 대쉬 역가드 체인을 자주쓴다. 특히 사스쿼치의 주력은 초고성능 ES필살기에 있다. ES빅 타워즈는 전방위 얼음 파워 가이저로 바뀌며 보기보다 대공판정도 우수하다. 빅 타이푼은 단발로 바뀌면서 약기본기에서 들어갈만큼 광속 발동으로 변하고 데미지도 극강. 빅 브런치는 걸리면 죽었다고 복창하자. 근접위주라 게이지도 빨리찬다. 그 만큼 ES의 남발도 쉽다는 뜻이다.

대쉬도 그렇고 스피드도 느린 것도 아니고, 여기에 기본기 판정이 막강해서 개캐 1순위다. 오죽하면 그 우메하라가 사스콰치 잡으면 재미없다며 비샤몬으로 대회에 참가했을까?

다크 포스는 빅 레지스터 강손+강발의 펭귄폭탄과 나머지 손+발의 슈퍼아머 둘중 하나.
사실 ES쓰느라 다른 캐릭에 비해 자주 쓰진 않는다.

Sasquatch

Sasquatch is a bigfoot who was first introduced in Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors (Vampire: The Night Warriors in Japan). He belongs to a tribe of similar creatures from Canada, which are known for their love of bananas. He has appeared in every game, with the exception of Vampire Savior 2.

Outside of the Darkstalkers games, Sasquatch has appeared in the American Darkstalkers cartoon with his name being changed to Bigfoot. In the series, he has a nephew named Hairball. Capcom has also released two cellphone based games featuring Sasquatch, Sasquatch go Home and its sequel Sasquatch go Home 2.


Background

Sasquatch is the most noble of his tribe of Bigfoot that live deep in the Rocky Mountains of Canada. When he sensed the powers of the extraterrestrial Pyron, he set out to discover the source of said power. After returning to his village, he finds members of his village have disappeared. In the center of his village was a huge hole. Determined that his fellow villagers have been pulled into trouble, Sasquatch jumped into the hole to help them. In the end, he found out that his fellow Bigfoot went willingly because Jedah offered them lots of bananas (not knowing that he is evil).


Personality

Sasquatch is a proud, strong willed, bold person who cared for his people, he enjoys a good fight and very found of a test, he enjoys the taste of fruits such as bananas, and is very friendly to people who help him.


Powers and Abilites

Sasquatch and his kind have a supernatural ability to control water and turn it into ice through their body for fighting, they can sense the energy of another from miles aways, and have good hearing far greater then that of a human.


Village of Bigfoot

The village lies in a basin within the Rocky mountains of Canada. It is surrounded by steep mountains. Below their village is a huge frozen lake which is covered with thick ice. This is where they catch their primary source of food, fish. About 100 Bigfoot's live in this village. To them, it is more like a big family than a tribe.


The temperature is constantly at -30 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit). Near the entrance to their village is a village called Crevasse. A snowstorm blows at a rate of 20 m per second (45 miles per hour). It is very hard for a human to enter this village. Even if they somehow do, if they make the Bigfoot's mad in any way, their chances of making it out alive are slim.
